Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Disappointing. Happily played there years ago. Hard tru inside & outside. Nice courts. Couple good lessons recently & good instructors BUT they were really last- minute regarding scheduling. Not entirely sure what their issue is, but needless to say, planning ahead is not their forte. Adult program may โ€œexistโ€ but rather disappointingโ€ฆ Said things upfront then the reality was otherwiseโ€ฆ I can not comment on their kids or junior programs, which are likely quite good. But, for adults, it does not appear that adult-tennis players are their โ€œnicheโ€. They do know how to serve tennis balls competently, but not really how to provide service to customers competently. Not griping here. Just providing honest & objective feedback, which is the apparent purpose of these surveys.

Adequate indoor/outdoor tennis facility featuring har-tru tennis courts. 6 permanent indoor courts and 4 outdoor seasonal courts. I have played at this club several times over the past 5+ years and have always found the indoor lighting to be subpar, too much glare and dullness. Moreover, and this may sounds odd, but the indoor courts play 'dirty', by which I mean the balls get extremely dirty from the har-tru surface (see photo). Thus, between the poor lighting and the scuffed-up balls if makes play more difficult after about an hour of play (solution, have a second can of balls...)
